Dalia Drake is a Cuban native, born in 1992. She was raised in Cuba until 2002, when her family moved to the United States.
Her eye for fashion developed after she began her studies at The Art Institute of Austin; with time, it became her newfound love. She learned to adapt her Cuban culture with high-fashion and street wear as a distinctive style. Her fashion career blossomed in Austin Texas, developing her craft as a wardrobe stylist for Austin Fashion Week shows both on and off season.
In 2015, she relocated to Atlanta, GA with the intentions of becoming a fashion stylist. Shortly after the move, Dalia collaborated with brands and artists like Diesel and Young Baby Tate. These projects molded her work ethic and added diversity to her portfolio.
In addition, she curated fashion concepts for the likeness of The Clermont Twins, Amara La Negra and many others.
Currently based in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York; Dalia is immersing her pursuits of the fashion corporation world while leading her non-profit brand CubaBCM. Also, bringing awareness to the culture gap in the fashion industry that exists and is affecting Cuba—Hoping to bring change to the future and become an icon in the industry!
